The Bluebirds boss spoke to Sky Sports after seeing his team edged out by a stunning goal from Ryan Babel, and Brighton's 1-1 draw with Newcastle later on Saturday left them realistically needing to beat both Crystal Palace and Manchester United in their final two games.

Cardiff missed late chances through Sean Morrison and Danny Ward, but were poor against the Cottagers, who they increasingly look like they will be joining in the Championship next season.
