Cardiff's Sol Bamba to avoid FA action despite admitting he lied about removing shirt

Sol Bamba will not face action from the FA despite admitting to deceiving the referee during Cardiff City's win over Brighton on Saturday.
The defender scored a late winner for the Welsh side at the Cardiff City Stadium, and celebrated by removing his shirt - an action that would normally result in a yellow card.
However, referee Martin Atkinson failed to produce the card, instead asking Bamba if he had committed the offence.
Bamba admitted after the match he had denied removing his shirt to avoid punishment, leading to Atkinson restarting play without punishing the Ivorian.
FA rules state yellow cards cannot be given retrospectively, meaning Bamba will not face any disciplinary action.
