Paul Trollope's first Sky Bet Championship game in charge of Cardiff City will be away at Birmingham City on August 6.
Trollope, who has been out of management since being sacked as Bristol Rovers boss in December 2010, will start the Championship season at St Andrews before taking charge of a home game at the Cardiff City Stadium for the first time against Queens Park Rangers a week later.
City's fourth game of the season will see Trollope return to Fulham, where he won two promotions as a player, with a home tie against Bristol City on October 15 and the trip to face Newcastle United at St James' Park on November 5 both stand-out fixtures.
Cardiff's Boxing Day fixture is against Brentford at Griffin Park with the side hosting Aston Villa on January 2 to begin the New Year.
Cardiff end their campaign away to Huddersfield Town on May 7.
