Sheffield Wednesday host Aston Villa live on Sky Sports in their first match of the 2016/17 Sky Bet Championship season on Sunday, August 7.
The Owls then go to Norwich, another side relegated from the Premier League, on August 13 before hosting Yorkshire rivals Leeds on August 20.
They make the trip to Huddersfield on October 15 before welcoming newly-promoted Barnsley to Hillsborough on December 13 and entertaining Rotherham a few days later on December 17.
The go to Preston on New Year's Eve before Wolves visit on January 2.
In 2017, the Owls host Huddersfield on January 14 and then face trips to Leeds on February 25, Barnsley on April 1 and Rotherham on April 4. They complete the season at home to Fulham on May 7.
