Xherdan Shaqiri says Stoke can beat Arsenal in their final home game of the season despite a poor run of recent form.
The Potters have won just one of their last nine games as they cruise to a mid-table finish in the Premier League, and host an Arsenal side still chasing a Champions League spot on Saturday evening, live on Sky Sports 1 HD from 5pm.
"It's a very important game for us," Shaqiri told Sky Sports. "We want to thank the fans for this year as they've supported us in every home game and every away game and we want to give them the three points back.
"It'll be a great atmosphere against Arsenal and I'm hoping we can put in a good performance, I'm looking forward to it and I'm confident we can win."
An injury-hit campaign has seen Shaqiri make just 19 appearances so far in the Premier League, netting just four times in the process.
The Swiss international admits it has been frustrating at times and that both he and the team could have had a better season, but says he's happy at the club.
"Everybody is frustrated when you're away from the pitch and for me it was the same," he said. "I didn't have much [of a break] after the Euros and it was a really hard year, and you can see there have been a lot of injuries at the end of the season. But I'm a forward-looking player and I'm happy to be back to help my team-mates.
"I've had some really good moments this year but I think we're better than we are [in the table]. We have the quality to go forward we just have to keep working.
"Of course everybody wants to play in the Champions League and win titles, but I have a long contract here and I'm happy. It's a great family club.
"For me it's the best league in the world and I'm enjoying playing here every weekend, the people are crazy about football and I like that. The best players are in England, so it's the most exciting league and that's why I'm here."
