Southampton's missed chances frustrate Claude Puel in Arsenal defeat

Claude Puel said he was "frustrated" at Southampton's failure to take their chances as they were beaten 2-0 by Arsenal on Wednesday.
Saints are the second-lowest scorers at home in the Premier League this season with just 17 goals.
And it was another frustrating night at St Mary's as several opportunities were spurned before Alexis Sanchez and Olivier Giroud scored for the Gunners.
"To play at this level against a good team and to have all these chances and positions to score is good, but it's important to find the clinical edge," Puel told Sky Sports.
"If we cannot score then we cannot win a game. Against the top six it's often the way. We can play a good game, with chances, but it's a shame and harsh for the players because it was good spirit and good work without reward."

Having scored six goals in his first four appearances for Southampton after joining in January, Manolo Gabbiadini has now gone six games without scoring.
The striker looked out of sorts and failed to make the most of the chances that did come his way.
"It's a young team and I hope we can improve to find the clinical edge because it's important to validate the good work and chances with good results," added Puel.
"Many games since the start of the season have seen good performances without reward. Sometimes it is difficult to accept."
