Robert Snodgrass and Michael Dawson scored within two minutes of each other to end Hull's six match Premier League losing streak with a 2-1 win over Southampton on Sunday.
Hull, who had lost their previous six encounters with the Saints, had gone behind to a sixth minute penalty by Charlie Austin.
In front of a sparse crowd at the KCOM Stadium, Hull failed to move themselves out of the relegation places but they went level on 10 points with West Brom, who play champions Leicester later on Sunday.
Their last win over Southampton came back in the second tier in 2008.

Southampton stay mid-table but the surprise defeat was a disappointment following their impressive Europa League win over Inter Milan on Thursday night.
