Attacker expected to return for Newcastle clash in two weeks' time

Wolves winger Michael Kightly will not feature in the derby match with West Bromwich Albion on Sunday due to a back injury. The 26-year-old suffered further setbacks to a recurring back injury against Liverpool at Molineux last Tuesday which meant he was unable to feature in the weekend's win over Queens Park Rangers. Kightly has made five appearances for Wolves in the Premier League so far this season scoring one goal following his return from a loan spell with Watford where he managed to net five goals in 11 games. Despite the additional lay-off period Wolves are hoping that Kightly will be able to return to action for tie with Newcastle on 25th February. "Kights is resting at the moment but the aim is to have him training again and available for the Newcastle game," manager Mick McCarthy said. Meanwhile Wolves have been boosted by defender Ronald Zubar's return to training following a six-week period on the sidelines. Zubar sustained a knee ligament injury in Wolves' 1-1 draw with Arsenal at the Emirates Stadium earlier in the season.
