Wolves have completed the permanent signing of versatile wing-back Jonny Otto from Atletico Madrid.
Jonny will be staying until at least 2023 and Sky Sports News understands he has been signed for an £18m fee, equalling the club record.
The 24-year-old - who has been on loan at Wolves - earned his first Spain cap this season and has become a fans' favourite at Molineux.
He was substituted in stoppage time during Tuesday's 3-0 defeat of West Ham, and left the pitch to chants of 'Sign him up' from the Wolves supporters.
Wolves have now obliged and Jonny told the club website: "We have had conversations for a while but everything has been very fast.
"The clubs reached an agreement and asked me what I thought. Really from the first moment I said yes, because the truth is that I am very happy to be here.
"I really like this league and I really like Wolverhampton.
"They are treating me very well, there are great staff, great team-mates and great supporters. It is a big club and, really, I am very happy to be here."
Wolves are enjoying a fine first season back in the top flight and are seventh in the table after their midweek win.
Jonny added: "The team is working well but there is always room for improvement.
"I think that if we continue at this level, we can be in a high position in the League."
Jonny began his career at Celta Vigo, making over 200 appearances, and joined Atletico Madrid last summer.
He did not an appearance for the Rojiblancos, however, immediately heading to Wolves on loan.
Jonny now joins Adama Traore as the club's record buy, with Traore having moved from Middlesbrough for £18m last summer.
