Nuno Espirito Santo says he has no complaints about Willy Boly's red card in Wolves' 3-0 defeat by Manchester City.
With his side trailing to Gabriel Jesus' opener, Boly was shown a straight red card after a late challenge on Bernardo Silva after 19 minutes.
Santo believes the incident played a major role in changing the complexion of the contest as City eased to a comfortable win to close the gap on leaders Liverpool back to four points at the top of the Premier League.
Jesus added his second from the penalty spot after Ryan Bennett brought down Raheem Sterling inside the box before a Conor Coady own goal completed the scoring.
Reflecting on Boly's sending off, Espirito Santo told Sky Sports: "The incident was very close to me, and I haven't seen the images but I've spoken with the fourth official. It was a red card, no doubt about it.

"The red card was a moment in which we tried to change things and the boys tried. Playing with 11 is tough, but playing with 10 is even harder.
"It was a tough night. Since we conceded the first goal, it became very difficult. We were in shape and it was a 30-yard pass which breaks us.
"There's no doubt about the result, they controlled the game and had the chances."
Wolves remain 11th in the Premier League table after failing to muster a single shot on target in the top flight for the first time since May 2012 against Everton.
Despite Boly's dismissal, City were restricted to just Coady's unfortunate own goal in the second period, and Espirito Santo praised his side for remaining resolute.
He added: "We had a plan to stay in shape and show defensive organisation, but with the goal and the red card everything went down.
"I think we showed character. We were brave, we stayed in the game and we always worked hard but we can't stop all the chances from Man City. We have to try to forget about it and look ahead."
