Wolves are set to take up the option to buy Benik Afobe for a fee of £12.5m, allowing the Bournemouth striker to return to Molineux on a permanent deal, Sky Sports News understands.
Sky Sports News understands talks are at an advanced stage for Afobe, who spent the second half of the season with Wolves after moving on loan in February.
The 25-year-old went on to score six goals in 16 league games for the Sky Bet Championship winners.
The Arsenal academy graduate joined Wolves first time around in January 2015, but left for Bournemouth 12 months later for a then-club record £10m.
Afobe was initially a first-time regular under Eddie Howe at Bournemouth, but went on to start just 14 Premier League games in the 2016-17 season.
He was then reduced to five league starts last season before securing a loan move to Wolves.
In his previous spell at Molineux, Afobe scored 23 goals in 48 games.
