West Brom have confirmed they will appeal Hal Robson-Kanu's red card against Burnley on Saturday.
Substitute Robson-Kanu was sent off for elbowing Matthew Lowton shortly after scoring the only goal of the Premier League game at Turf Moor.
The Wales forward posted a message on social media later in the evening claiming the foul "wasn't intentional".
And a club statement released on Sunday read: "Albion have contacted the FA and will submit a claim of wrongful dismissal."
Robson-Kanu's goal maintained West Brom's 100 per cent start to the new league season after victory over Bournemouth on the opening weekend.
