Sunderland's Darron Gibson has been filmed giving a scathing critique of his team to a group of supporters.
On a video uploaded to social media, the 29-year-old midfielder uses a string of expletives to claim several of his team-mates do not care about the club.
Sunderland, who are refusing to comment on the video, were relegated to the Sky Bet Championship in May and must now attempt to return to the top flight under new manager Simon Grayson.
After the Black Cats were thrashed 5-0 by Celtic in their final pre-season game on Saturday, Gibson said "we're f****** s***" before being asked by one supporter whether that bothered him.
He said: "Of course I am [bothered]. I don't want to be s***. There are too many people at the club who don't give a f***."
The group then reeled off three Sunderland players whom they thought Gibson might be referring to, and he said "right there's one" when asked about defender Lamine Kone.
After a supporter raised the names of Jeremain Lens and Wahbi Khazri, Gibson responded "next one" on both occasions.
Another supporter then accused Gibson of being drunk, to which the Republic of Ireland international said: "Right, I might be off my face in here but I still want to play for Sunderland.
"The rest of them f****** don't though. The rest of them don't."
