Jack Grealish and Lee Evans both scored sublime volleys for Aston Villa and Sheffield United respectively on Tuesday evening, but which was the more impressive?
A defeat at Villa Park on Tuesday evening would have likely curtailed any hopes Steve Bruce's men harboured of making the Championship play-offs altogether, but Grealish kept his side's ambitions alive with a stunning first-time volley five minutes from time.
The game looked to be heading for stalemate as the latter stages loomed with the score goalless, but Grealish stepped up to slam home a volley in the 85th minute to snatch all three points for the hosts.
At Bramall Lane, Evans gave the Blades the lead against fellow play-off hopefuls Middlesbrough with a similarly exceptional finish inside the first two minutes of the game.
Though he would later score another to secure a vital victory against 10-man Boro, it was his first that caught the eye; volleying home a composed, side-footed finish which gave goalkeeper Darren Randolph no chance.
