Leeds head coach Thomas Christiansen says his opposite number at Cardiff will have plenty of motivation going into Tuesday's Championship clash, which is live on Sky Sports Football from 7.30pm.
Not only is the Bluebirds boss Neil Warnock a former Leeds manager, but his current club sit just two places below Christiansen's side, who lead the league on goal difference.
Warnock managed the Whites for 13 months, up until April 2013, and Christiansen believes the Yorkshireman will be desperate to beat his former club.
The 44-year-old Dane said: "He's going to do everything possible to motivate the players for this game.
"It's not only a top game, it's a game against his ex-team. He'll want to push his players to give more than they have to take an important three points."
Leeds have lost just once this season but, despite their current lofty position, Christiansen is not getting carried away.
"I don't look further than one or two games," he added. "We all have our dreams to fulfil and we all work on trying to achieve that. If it's possible or not, only time will tell."
