Nottingham Forest in talks to sign Luke Chambers from Ipswich - Sky sources

Nottingham Forest are in talks to sign Ipswich Town's captain Luke Chambers, according to Sky sources.

The 31-year-old, who sees his contract expire in the summer, could return to the club he left on a Bosman free transfer in 2012.

He is one of Mick McCarthy's most important players, and made 30 appearances for the club so far this season.

Chambers has made over 200 appearance for the Championship club over three-and-a-half campaigns.

Kettering-born Chambers was a trainee at local club Northampton before joining Forest in 2007 with more than 100 league games under his belt.
