Birmingham have signed Ryan Shotton from Derby for an undisclosed fee.
The defender has penned a three-year deal at St Andrew's after spending the second half of last season at the club.
Ex-Stoke man Shotton made nine appearances for Birmingham, scoring once, and had one year left on his contract at the iPro Stadium.
He becomes Gary Rowett's second signing of the summer after another former loanee, Robert Tesche, secured a permanent move.
Shotton joined Derby from Stoke in 2014, initially on loan before signing permanently, and made 36 appearances for the Rams.
