Sky Bet, the title sponsor of The Football League, are to auction 25 signed football shirts, in aid of Jeff Stelling’s Men United March for Prostate Cancer UK.
Shirts from each of the clubs that Jeff passes began to go under the hammer from Monday March 21, when Jeff walked his first marathon - from his beloved Hartlepool United via Middlesbrough to Marske.
The shirts will continue to be listed on Sky Bet's eBay page throughout the challenge at the point that Jeff passes each of the 25 Football League clubs on route.
Jeff will attempt to undertake 10 walking marathons in 10 days, starting in the North East and ending with a marathon across West London, ending at Wembley stadium.
Sky Bet employees will be joining Jeff and helping to raise money on the Leeds leg of his journey, and will be providing Jeff with free charity bets for the cause every day.
So far Jeff has raised over £183,000 and the Soccer Saturday host said: "Over ten thousand people die of Prostate Cancer each year. I've been personally affected and it's likely that you know someone who has, too.
"I'd like to thank Sky Bet for their support for my Men United March and I'd urge fans to have a bid on one of the shirts in the auctions.
"Alternatively you can text JEFF to 70004 to donate £3 to the March."
Sky Bet Head of Sponsorship Edwin Martin said: "We're delighted to be able to support Jeff in this incredible challenge and I'll be joining him on the leg from York City to Leeds United.
"One in eight men will get prostate cancer at some stage in their life and we want to help decrease that chance."
