Javi Gracia has criticised Isaac Success for thumping the ball out of a ball boy’s hands during Watford’s Premier League match against Tottenham.
Success was determined to restart play quickly in injury-time of the club's 2-1 defeat at Wembley, as the ball boy held onto the ball.
The striker was booked subsequently by referee Graham Scott and Gracia says his players must learn from the incident.
"I have my opinion about Isaac's behaviour. I don't like to see that from my player with a ball boy," Gracia said.
"I think we have to look after the ball boys always. It is not a good reaction. That is what I can say.
"I am not here to educate the ball boys on what they have to do and not to do - it is not my job. We need to improve our behaviours next time."
Watford, who dropped to ninth in the league after their defeat against Tottenham, will play six of their next nine games in all competitions away from home.
Despite Brighton losing their last three league fixtures, Gracia is expecting a demanding encounter against Chris Hughton's side on Saturday.
He said: "Playing at home we know they are strong. We will try to recover the players and try to show our best face because we will need it to have options to win."
Glenn Murray has scored 10 Premier League goals this season for Brighton, including twice during their 4-2 defeat by Fulham on Tuesday, and Gracia is well aware of his influence.
"I know he is an important player for them," Gracia said. "In other moments they are playing with {Florin] Andone as well but Murray is an important player, important with very good movements into the box, running behind the defensive line.
"[He is an] experienced player - important for them."
