Marco Silva insists Watford's performance merited their late equaliser to claim a thrilling 3-3 draw at home to Liverpool.
The Premier League returned in thrilling fashion on Friday night with Arsenal's dramatic 4-3 win over Leicester and the goals continued to flow at Vicarage Road with Stefano Okaka (8) and Sadio Mane (29) exchanging strikes.
Watford, led by Silva for the first time in the Premier League, regained the lead soon after through Abdoulaye Doucoure (32) but second-half goals from Roberto Firmino (54) and Mohamed Salah (57) saw Jurgen Klopp's side turn the game on its head before Miguel Britos struck late.
It was an equaliser that Silva believed his team deserved.
"Of course I think it is a good result for us and a fair result," he said.

"It was a very good first half for our team, good rhythm. I didn't like the first 25 minutes of the second half.
"We expected a good reaction from our opponents but to play with the same intensity.
"We reacted well and left it until the end, it is really important to us and we really, really deserved the result as well."
