Watford's development XI drew 1-1 with Woking in their first pre-season friendly on Saturday.
Alex Jakubiak opened the scoring for Watford in the first half, but the National League side drew level moments later through former Watford academy player Bobson Bawling.
Led by coaches David Horseman and Hayden Mullins, Watford's development XI were ahead on 36 minutes as Jakubiak slotted home from six yards from Brandon Mason's overlapping run and cross from the left.
But the lead lasted just 60 seconds, with Bawling finishing with a superb chest and volley having joined Woking from Crawley earlier this summer.
Jakubiak nearly won it for Watford after the break, but his effort was saved and then cleared off the line as Woking survived.
Watford face AFC Wimbledon next up in pre-season, before fixtures against Viktoria Plzen, Eibar, Aston Villa and Real Sociedad.
Watford: Howe, (Gartside); Eleftheriou (Rogers), Rowan (Huja, Mukena, Mason; Stewart (Charles), Ryan (Stray); Pereira, Folivi (Adedeji), Trialist (Sesay; Jakubiak (Cruz Cabrera).
