Watford head coach Walter Mazzarri believes his team should have scored more against Sunderland.
Watford beat Sunderland 1-0 at Vicarage Road thanks to a Miguel Britos header to go seven points clear of the relegation zone.
In a tight contest, Watford had the chance to kill the game through substitute Isaac Success, who missed a one-on-one with the score at 1-0.
"The only thing is we should have scored at least one more goal," he told Sky Sports.
"Their goalkeeper was very good. We need to improve, especially improve in the last 25 yards with the final pass.
"Success had a very good chance and we had to take it. This is something we have to improve."
The Italian insists he is not worrying about his team's league position and is more concerned about performances on the pitch.
He added: "I don't look at how many points we need. I'm not looking at this.
"I'm looking at the game by game and how to improve. For example, to move better with the ball, to be sure to know where you pass it. This is how we improve."
