Watford are in advanced transfer talks with Malaga's Nordin Amrabat, according to Sky sources.
It is understood Watford have activated a £6m release clause in the Morocco international's contract.
And Amrabat, whose previous clubs include PSV and Galatasaray, will now travel to the UK to talk terms and undergo a medical.
The 28-year-old is a Netherlands-born winger who represented the Dutch at U21 level before switching allegiance to Morocco.
