West Ham fans staged a protest against the club's current owners ahead of the game against Everton.
Saturday marked 10 years in charge for David Gold and David Sullivan, and a large group of Hammers supporters marked the occasion with a protest outside the London Stadium.
The game itself ended in a 1-1 draw after Dominic Calvert-Lewin's instinctive finish in the 44th minute for a depleted Everton side cancelled out Issa Diop's header for the hosts four minutes earlier.
West Ham recently sacked manager Manuel Pellegrini and brought in David Moyes as his replacement. When asked about the protests after the game, Moyes had a message for the club's supporters.
"I understand lots of things at the club, but the best thing I'd like to do is give them a team," Moyes said. "I think if I can give the supporters here a team and something they can be proud of, then it would be the team.
"I want the supporters to stay right behind the players and the club. They've been really good with me since I've come in.
"There's been small improvements that we saw today and in certain areas. We've not conceded too many chances or too many goals but now we need to give them a team that gets up the league to give them something to shout about.
"I think the football manager can ease the burden on the owners through results and I'm happy to take that responsibility. I wanted it last time, and I want it again.
"It's not been the best time to arrive midway through the season between Christmas and January, but I need the time to do it."
