West Ham are still in talks with Celta Vigo over the signing of Maxi Gomez, Sky Sports News understands.

Celta Vigo are unwilling to sell the 22-year-old in the January window unless the player's £43.3m release clause is met.

The Hammers held talks with the Spanish side over Gomez in the summer, but felt Celta Vigo were demanding too much money for the striker.
