An emergency summit involving West Ham and London Stadium stakeholders is being held to discuss ways to combat the ugly scenes which occurred during Saturday's loss to Burnley.
West Ham are facing an investigation by the Football Association after a series of pitch invasions and widespread supporter unrest marred Burnley's 3-0 win.
Vice chairman Karren Brady, other board members and their head of security will be joined by Stadium operators LS185, the London Legacy Development Corporation ( LLDC) and E20 - the body set up to transform and manage the stadium.
Sky Sports News understands that the Safety Advisory Group match against Burnley was a Category A fixture and that all the safety and stewarding requirements for the match to go ahead were met.
A spokesperson for Sadiq Khan says the Mayor of London has called on West Ham to take action against the fans who disrupted the match.
The spokesperson said: "The disturbances at the London Stadium were disgraceful and it's clear that there cannot be a repeat of the ugly scenes witnessed on Saturday.
"It is up to West Ham to carry out a thorough investigation, together with stakeholders, and take proper action against those supporters who misbehaved."
