Three West Ham fans arrested following home win over Watford at London Stadium

Three West Ham fans were arrested following the win over Watford at the London Stadium, the Metropolitan Police have confirmed.

One person was arrested for a public order offence, one for assault on a steward and the other for assault on a steward and racial abuse, according to the MPS Football Unit.

All are were male and were waiting to be dealt with in custody on Saturday evening. The steward in question was not seriously injured.

The Hammers boosted their survival hopes with a 2-0 victory, thanks to goals from Marko Arnautovic and Javier Hernandez.
