Javier Hernandez injury concern for West Ham ahead of Brighton game

West Ham are sweating on the fitness of forward Javier Hernandez ahead of the Friday Night Football visit of Brighton.
Hernandez underwent a scan on Tuesday after pulling up in training, although the Hammers are yet to discover the full extent of the injury.
If Hernandez is ruled out of the match at London Stadium, it would leave Diafra Sakho as West Ham's only recognised fit senior forward with Andy Carroll suspended.
Young Spanish forward Toni Martinez could be included in the matchday squad if Hernandez does miss out having scored 23 goals in 26 appearances for the club's U23 team.
Hernandez is West Ham's current top scorer this season having netted three times since his £16m summer switch from Bayer Leverkusen.
West Ham come into the match against Brighton having lost one of their last five Premier League matches and could move into the top 10 for the first time this season if they secure victory.
