Match in a Minute: Phil Thompson's verdict on West Ham 1-1 Middlesbrough
Saturday 1 October 2016 20:25, UK
We gave Sky Sports pundit Phil Thompson just 60 seconds to sum up his thoughts on West Ham's home 1-1 draw with Middlesbrough.
In a match between two teams struggling for form after respective four and three-match losing runs in the Premier League, they remained goalless at the break.
Cristhian Stuani's header put Middlesbrough in front, goal line technology confirming it had crossed the line before Mark Noble could clear.
West Ham levelled quickly, however, and they did so with the game's main talking point, a wonderful solo goal from Dimitri Payet.
The Frenchman collected the ball on the left touchline before cutting in to beat five men then shoot back across goal and past Victor Valdes.
