West Ham have made a £20m bid for Swansea forward Andre Ayew, according to Sky sources.

Sky sources understand Swansea have not made a decision on the offer and are keen to secure attacking reinforcements before allowing the 26-year-old to leave.

Ayew attracted interest from West Ham last summer, but joined the Swans on a free transfer and went on to score 12 goals during his debut season in the Premier League.

The Ghana international, who is contracted to Swansea until 2019, is one of only two senior forwards at the club following the departure of Bafetimbi Gomis to Marseille on a season-long loan.

Swansea hope to sign two strikers before the close of the summer transfer window and are interested in signing Sevilla forward Fernando Llorente

West Ham manager Slaven Bilic is also looking to strengthen his forward options ahead of the new season and is currently preparing for life without Diafra Sakho.
