West Ham United are still interested in signing Alexandre Lacazette, according to Sky sources, but they have not made an improved bid of £42m (€52m) for the Lyon striker.
On 17 May, West Ham's £31m bid for the French striker was rejected by Lyon.
Lacazette is still on a shortlist of strikers they would like to sign, but they do not believe he is worth Lyon's €50m valuation.
A source close to the deal told Sky Sports News HQ: "Sterling falling against the Euro has made it a lot more expensive to buy players in Euros."
West Ham have also made a €35m bid for Marseille striker Michy Batshuayi.
