Wigan will kick off their return to the Sky Bet Championship against Bristol City at Ashton Gate on August 6.
Gary Caldwell's men will host rivals Blackburn on their second fixture of the new season on August 13 and travel to neighbours Preston on September 24.
The Latics' festive period includes an away clash with Rotherham United on Boxing Day, before travelling to Derby County on New Year's Eve and hosting Huddersfield Town on January 2.
Wigan's final scheduled game of the campaign will be a home tie against Leeds United on May 7.
