Midfielder Emmanuel Frimpong is confident he will not be involved in a relegation battle after joining Fulham on loan from Arsenal for the remainder of the season.
Frimpong has spent loan spells at Wolves and Charlton in the past year and is happy to be on the move again. "It has been a very good start," the 21-year-old said. "Obviously I came in on Monday and saw some of the lads. "It has been good training and the lads have been really welcoming to me so I am looking forward to my first game. "Hopefully the manager will pick me but he has not given the team away yet. I would like to feature but we will have to wait and see. "The first thing I want to achieve is get playing - that is the main reason I came here. To play in the team I have to make sure that I am playing well every week or whenever the manager calls me. "That is the main aim, to come here and play football and until the summer then see what happens. "My strongest attribute is probably tackling and getting tight to a midfielder. "I like to fight for the ball, fight for my team and hopefully I can bring that to Fulham and help my team."
