Cottagers among those keen on World Cup-winning forward
The agent of World Cup-winning frontman Vincenzo Iaquinta admits his client is exploring the option of making a move to England this summer.
The 32-year-old is contracted to Serie A giants Juventus, but spent the second half of last season on loan at Cesena.
Having been deemed surplus to requirements in Turin, the former Italy international is looking to secure a permanent switch elsewhere.
There has been interest from the Premier League and Championship, with Fulham and Watford believed to be keen.
Options
Fulham are in the market for firepower after seeing Andrew Johnson, Pavel Pogrebnyak and Orlando Sa head through the exits, while Watford's new owners have outlined ambitious plans at Vicarage Road.
Iaquinta's representative admits there is every chance that a deal will be reached with the club in England, and has confirmed that the Cottagers are in the running.
"We are verifying a number of different options for Iaquinta in Italy, but especially in England." Andrea D'Amico told
Calcio Sport 24.
"Fulham? That is a concrete hypothesis."
