Fulham benefited from a freak goal from Kevin McDonald as they enhanced their Championship promotion chances with a 2-0 win over Leeds on Tuesday.
The third-placed Cottagers moved five points behind Cardiff in second after midfielder McDonald scored off his backside before in-form Aleksandar Mitrovic added a second.
Fulham, who have won six of their last seven matches, extended their record-breaking unbeaten league run to 18 matches.
It was their first goal that provided great amusement, however, as Mitrovic's header from a Matt Targett's corner hit the unsuspecting McDonald and trickled past Bailey Peacock-Farrell in the Leeds goal.
