Riyad Mahrez says Man City missed penalty v Liverpool won't affect confidence

Riyad Mahrez admits he is unhappy with his penalty record in the Premier League, after missing from the spot late on in Manchester City's 0-0 draw with Liverpool.
Mahrez was handed an opportunity to win City the game with just five minutes remaining at Anfield but smashed the ball over the bar.
He has now missed five of his last eight Premier League penalties - four for former club Leicester and one for City.
Mahrez avoided confirming whether he was designated spot-kick taker after Sergio Aguero was substituted by Pep Guardiola, who praised the Algerian winger's "courage after the game".
Asked if he has a good penalty record, he said: "In the Championship yes, but not in the Premier League.

"I've missed a few, but it is part of football. You have to move forward and stay strong. No it won't affect my confidence at all. Everyone misses penalties - even big, big, big players.
"I took the decision to shoot and the ball went up. I have to look forward, it is part of football. Sometimes you score, sometimes you miss.
"But the most important thing is that our performance was very good today. I think we deserved to win, but sometimes it is better to not lose as well."
