Pep Guardiola is the greatest football boss in the world, according to Manchester City defender Vincent Kompany.
Kompany was celebrating City's Premier League title and Carabao Cup success on an open-top bus parade through the city of Manchester on Monday.
It is the third time the Belgium centre-half has tasted top-flight glory with City, but the first under the guidance of the Spaniard.
Speaking to SSN reporter Ben Ransom, Kompany said: "We had a good season last season but these things take time.
"Pep got the backing he needed to get the players he wanted and we were really receptive to what he had to say.
"Ultimately I think he's the best manager in the world and with good players, he did great things."
It was Guardiola's second season at the Etihad having arrived from Bayern Munich.
He steered City to third-place last year and on their title-winning campaign this time round became the first side in Premier League history to rack up 100 points.
Asked how City would top their success next season, Guardiola told the thousands of fans on the streets: "Now it's time to enjoy it, but we will come back stronger."
