Manchester City teenager Phil Foden has been named BBC Young Sport Personality of the Year.
The award caps a remarkable year for 17-year-old from Stockport, who was named player of the tournament at the U17 World Cup, which England won.
Foden, who came on as a substitute in City's 4-1 demolition of Spurs on Saturday for his Premier League debut, said: "I feel very lucky to be part of a great team and I'd like to thank all the players and staff."
He was on a final shortlist of three with gymnast Ellie Downie and para-skier Millie Knight.
The playmaker became the youngest English player ever to start a Champions League game at 17 years and 192 days, lining up in an unfamiliar left wing-back role as Manchester City were beaten 2-1 by Shakhtar Donetsk earlier this month.
Foden left City manager Pep Guardiola speechless in the summer after the youngster's performance in a pre-season friendly against Manchester United in the summer.
"It's been a long time since I saw something like today," said Guardiola after the game in July. "His performance was on another level."
