Wales international Neil Taylor is set for a return when Swansea face EFL Cup opponents Manchester City at the Liberty Stadium on Wednesday.
A disgruntled Taylor was taken off before half-time against Chelsea nine days ago when Swans manager Francesco Guidolin abandoned an experiment of playing three central defenders, and then did not feature in a 1-0 defeat at Southampton on Sunday.
Guidolin is likely to make a number of changes for unbeaten City's visit, with record signing Borja Baston looking ready for a first start since completing a £15.5millon move from Atletico Madrid, with club captain Leon Britton also likely to feature. Nathan Dyer is a long-term absentee, though.
Manchester City captain Vincent Kompany could make his first appearance of the season in Wednesday's tie.
The Belgium defender has not played since suffering a thigh injury in the Champions League semi-final loss to Real Madrid in May.
Midfielder Yaya Toure has been excluded by manager Pep Guardiola while playmaker David Silva remains doubtful with a leg injury, midfielder Fabian Delph is also injured and striker Sergio Aguero is suspended.
Swansea squad: Fabianski, Naughton, Amat, Fernandez, Kingsley, Cork, Fer, Ki, Routledge, Barrow, Britton, Sigurdsson, Llorente, Nordfeldt, Rangel, Taylor, Mawson, van der Hoorn, Montero, Fulton, McBurnie, Borja.
Man City squad: Bravo, Caballero, Gunn, Maffeo, Zabaleta, Sagna, Kompany, Stones, Otamendi, Adarabioyo, Kolarov, Clichy, Angelino, Gundogan, Fernandinho, Fernando, De Bruyne, Navas, Sterling, Sane, Garcia, Diaz, Nolito, Iheanacho.
Charlie Nicholas' predictions
There will be quite a few changes in the Man City group, but they can afford that with the quality they've got.
Francesco Guidolin will think they might as well keep going for it as they need a win to get themselves going again.
CHARLIE PREDICTS: Swansea 1-2 Man City, Kelechi Iheanacho to score first (20/1 with Sky Bet)
