Tottenham took the lead against Manchester City in controversial style on Sunday as they were awarded a penalty when Danny Rose's cross hit Raheem Sterling.
Manuel Pellegrini said the decision proved "decisive" as City were beaten 2-1 and did not think referee Mark Clattenburg was right to award it.
