Kevin De Bruyne says he is delighted with the start Manchester City have made to the season - and believes they can get even better.
De Bruyne joined City in the summer from Wolfsburg for a club record £54.5m and has helped them enjoy a fine beginning to the new campaign.
City currently top the Premier League, having won eight of their 12 matches so far, and have already clinched qualification to the knockout phase of the Champions League. City also have a Capital One Cup quarter-final tie with Hull City to look forward to in December.
This has been achieved despite City suffering injuries to key players, including Sergio Aguero, David Silva, Samir Nasri and Pablo Zabaleta.
De Bruyne, who has contributed six goals to the City cause, feels Manuel Pellegrini's side have navigated a difficult period extremely well, considering the lengthy injury list.
"I am happy with the way everything is going. We are playing good as a team, we have a lot of injured players, but we did not lose in October," he told Sky Sports News HQ.
"We qualified for the next stages of the Capital One Cup and Champions League so as a team we are doing a good job. Even if we could play a bit better, we are getting the points and that is the only thing which is important."
De Bruyne, who is currently away on international duty with Belgium, also calmed fears over him potentially suffering burnout.
"I think I have played a lot of games already this year, but I am feeling good. So as long as play, I am happy otherwise I will tell the trainer," he added.
City face Liverpool at the Etihad Stadium on November 21 following the international break, which will see De Bruyne face Jurgen Klopp once again.
The 24-year-old helped Wolfsburg defeat Klopp's Borussia Dortmund side in the German Cup final in May.
"I know him a little bit, he's a trainer that likes to play with a lot of pressure and running. They will try to put on a lot of pressure, it's a big game," De Bruyne said.
