Jack Grealish scored a sensational goal on his return to the Aston Villa side to put them 4-0 up against Derby on Saturday.
It was a fitting return for a player Dean Smith has been crying out for in recent weeks, with the Villans having won just two of 13 games played since his last appearance on December 7, in a 2-2 draw with West Brom.
The 23-year-old had been sidelined since then due to an ongoing shin issue, but his return coincided with Derby's downturn in form, producing the ideal conditions for a stylish comeback.
And stylish it was. The hosts were already three goals to the good heading into first-half stoppage time, thanks to two goals from Conor Hourihane and yet another from Tammy Abraham, but they made it four when Grealish had his say.
Glenn Whelan floated a delightful corner towards the midfielder 18 yards out and he connected with the ball with the sweetest of strikes that left Scott Carson rooted to the spot.
