Aston Villa will kick off their 2016/17 Sky Bet Championship season with a trip to Sheffield Wednesday on Sunday, August 7, live on Sky Sports.
Roberto Di Matteo's side will then host Newcastle, also relegated from the Premier League, on September 24, before a trip to rivals Birmingham on October 29.
Villa finish 2016 with a home match against Leeds on December 31 and then travel to Cardiff on January 2.
They are at Newcastle on February 18 before hosting Birmingham in their third-to-last match of the season on April 22.
