Aston Villa will play Premier League newcomers Middlesbrough as part of their pre-season schedule.
Relegated Villa take on the Championship runners-up in a friendly match at Villa Park on Saturday July 30.
The club will be in Austria for a training camp from July 9-14 as the players are put through their paces ahead of the 2016/17 Championship campaign.
They then play at Telford United on July 16 before a game at Bristol Rovers four days later.
Villa will then fly to France to play FC Nantes at the Stade Leo Lagrange on July 23.
Cambridge United provide the opposition on July 26 before the warm-up campaign wraps up against Boro.
