Tim Sherwood adamant Aston Villa will stay in the Premier League

Tim Sherwood has "100 per cent belief" Aston Villa will avoid relegation - and has dismissed suggestions he has two games to keep his job.
Villa are third from bottom of the Premier League table and have picked up just one point since their only win of the season against Bournemouth on the opening day of the season and Ray Wilkins this week pleaded with the club to retain their faith in Sherwood.
This weekend they travel to champions Chelsea, in what is a vital match for both Sherwood and Blues counterpart Jose Mourinho whose side are just two places and four points above Villa in the table.
Sky Sources reported earlier this week that Sherwood did not have two games to save his job as had been reported in the press but the former Tottenham boss insists he will fight on.
"I am in a difficult period at the moment with results but I'll get through it," said Sherwood. "Once I get through this period everyone will benefit. Aston Villa certainly will and Tim Sherwood will, I will come through stronger."

Reports in midweek claimed the club's American owners issued an ultimatum to Sherwood - that he had two games to turn results around - but the Villa boss denied all knowledge of this.
"No-one spoke to me about two games," he added. "I'm realistic enough to know that I'm a football manager who needs to win football matches - and we haven't done that. If you don't win games then as a manager you get sacked.
"All I know is that I'm a football manager and I take full responsibility for the results. I'm not hiding in the background. I'm standing up there in that rectangle at the front of the pitch, taking the brunt of it. That's what I get paid for. I take full responsibility for results.
"I look up to managers who have stood up in tough periods. I take inspiration from Alan Pardew. He's now favourite for the England job when Roy leaves; a real turnaround.
"I take a lot of heart from managers who have been through difficult periods. This is my first tough period in management.
