Southampton striker Sam Gallagher has joined Blackburn on a season-long loan.
Gallagher, who featured for Claude Puel's side in pre-season with a goal against PEC Zwolle on July 23, makes the move to Ewood Park ahead of their Sky Bet Championship game against Wigan Athletic on Saturday.
Last season Gallagher had a loan spell at MK Dons, and scored five goals in 13 appearances before returning to the Saints to play for their development side.
The 20 year-old, who made 20 appearances for the Southampton first team over the course of the 2013/14 campaign, will now spend the 2016/17 season in the Championship with Owen Coyle's side.
He joined Southampton in 2012 from Plymouth Argyle and made his first-team debut on 6 November 2013 in the League Cup against Sunderland, when he came on as a substitute.
Gallagher scored Southampton's winner over Blackburn in last season's final of the U21 League Cup.
