Redknapp given plenty to ponder after striker finds net

Robbie Keane was on target as Tottenham concluded their pre-season tour of the United States with a 2-2 draw against Sporting Lisbon. Keane opened the scoring for his team in the Red Bull Arena on 23 minutes after latching onto a through ball from Niko Kranjcar to slot into the bottom corner. Spurs had wobbles at the back, however, and Sporting were on level terms two minutes later when Chile international Matias Fernandez headed home. Harry Redknapp's team fell further behind three minutes after the restart as Jamie Valdes struck to beat keeper David Button, who had replaced Carlo Cudicini at half-time. But Keane came to his team's rescue by setting up Jonathan Obika for the leveller, his pass allowing the substitute to squeeze a shot past Rui Patricio in the Lisbon goal. Republic of Ireland striker Keane has been linked with a move away from White Hart Lane over the summer but his performance will have given Redknapp plenty to ponder.
