Tottenham have been offered the chance to sign Porto striker Ze Luis on loan.

The 28-year-old Cape Verde international is one of a number of strikers Spurs are considering following the injury to Harry Kane.

Sky Sports News has already reported that AC Milan's Krzysztof Piatek is another player they have inquired about signing on loan until the summer, although the Serie A club would prefer to sell.

Jose Mourinho had made signing another centre-forward and central midfielder on loan a priority after Kane was ruled out until at least April and Moussa Sissoko was sidelined until March.

The club confirmed the 18-month loan capture of Benfica youngster Gedson Fernandes on Wednesday.

Spurs have also been looking into making an addition at the back, especially at right-back - with the likes of Max Aarons, Nordi Mukiele, Elseid Hysaj and Hiroki Sakai all admired by the north London club.
