Tottenham have warned their fans that fake tickets are in circulation for the club’s Champions League semi-final second leg against Ajax in Amsterdam.
Spurs were given an allocation of 2,600 inside the 54,900 capacity Johan Cruyff ArenA but it is reported around three times that number are understood to be travelling to the Dutch capital without a ticket.
Mauricio Pochettino's side need to overturn a 1-0 deficit from the first leg to reach their first Champions League final and set up an all-English showpiece in Madrid on June 1.
A club statement read: "Following meetings with local Police and UEFA, the Club strongly advises our supporters to avoid purchasing unofficial tickets in Amsterdam ahead of tonight's semi-final, second leg at the Johan Cruyff ArenA.
"Our officials have been advised that a number of fake tickets are in circulation. Not only are these tickets priced extortionately, supporters will not gain entry through the stadium's electronic turnstiles. Please avoid purchasing these tickets.
"A reminder that tickets for tonight are sold out."
Extra police offers from Scotland Yard have already been drafted over to Amsterdam to help avoid any repeat of the violence before last week's encounter at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.
The Metropolitan Police confirmed three officers sustained non-serious injuries while arresting fans ahead of last Tuesday's meeting, after a group of fans began throwing objects outside the stadium.
Police officers intervened and arrested four people, while they made five additional arrests in other incidents before the match.
