Harry Kane returned to full training with Tottenham on Monday - boosting his chances of playing against Burnley on Saturday, Sky Sports News understands.
The England striker is ahead of schedule in his recovery from ankle ligament damage and boss Mauricio Pochettino recently admitted he could make the squad for the trip to Turf Moor, live on Sky Sports in the lunchtime kick-off.
Kane was originally supposed to be out until March after sustaining the injury against Manchester United on January 13, but around two weeks ago Pochettino admitted he had already made "unbelievable" progress.
Kane is understood to have spent a week in the Caribbean training in a warmer climate at the end of January, and then returned to light ball work earlier this month.
In his absence, Spurs have won every Premier League game and a Champions League last-16 first leg against Borussia Dortmund, but were knocked out of both domestic cup competitions.
But the 20-goal striker is close to returning to aid Tottenham's pursuit of the Premier League title.
On February 8, ahead of Spurs' win over Leicester at Wembley, Pochettino said: "He is doing fantastic. We need to stop him every day because he wants to be ahead of his recovery and he's very optimistic and determined to play as soon as possible.
"It's unbelievable. If you see him he's nearly ready to play but we need to be realistic too and of course in between all the areas to take the best decision.
"He's so close to come back again. Not for Sunday, not for Wednesday but we will see after. Maybe [for Burnley], maybe yes."
